Join The Greenlands Reserve Land Trust for Adopt-A-Site Project
The Greenlands Reserve Land Trust participated in a water quality project in the Straight Creek watershed involving construction of erosion control structures in areas where timber cutting has been completed. All ability levels were welcomed.
Volunteers met at the Straight Creek trailhead in Dillon (at the end of County Rd 51) at 9 AM and the day ended at 3 PM. Nine volunteers were present.
This effort was part of Friends of the Dillon Ranger District’s (FDRD) Forest Stewards Program (see www.fdrd.org). For more information on The Greenlands Reserve Land Trust, visit http://www.greenlandsreserve.org. Future opportunities with the GRLT are scheduled for July 30, Aug. 14, and Sept. 11.
