Join us for free lunch and a great discussion with Dan Schroder presenting. Please attend this Forest Health Task Force meeting to participate in the important issue of disaster preparedness. Your Summit County CSU Extension Agent Dan Schroder will lead an interactive session on what you can do to minimize impending misery after a natural disaster. In the event of widespread natural disaster, emergency responders will immediately be spread thin. It is imperative that individuals understand the importance of being prepared to stand on-your-own for a potentially prolonged period of time after a disaster. What you do today, in advance, will make all the difference. In addition to personal preparedness, Dan will discuss what the Summit County Wildfire Council and its partners will do this year to support community protection from natural disasters. It takes everyone to protect everyone.
